Standard Fire Alarm Project Shop Drawings

Our standard fire alarm projects cover any fire alarm work that includes more than 10 devices. This includes (but is not limited to) system additions/modifications, brand new system installs, retrofits, etc.

In order to begin your project we will contact you to collect the following information:

• Architectural plans of the building/area of work
• Any relevant pre-existing fire alarm, mechanical and electrical plans for the property
• Job "takeoff" detailing the fire alarm work that will be performed, device types and locations, preferred manufacturers and other pertinent system details
  
• Occupancy and AHJ details

You can expect completion of your standard fire project within 10 business days. Completed plan sets will always include:

• Floor plans with device locations
• Alarm riser diagrams
• Battery load and voltage drop calculations
• Conductor specs
• BOM
• Sequence of operation details
  
• Device spec sheets

Expedited project timelines may be possible for an additional fee. Projects include one plan revision, additional revisions are billed at $100 each.
